Good to know
How do I work out square footage?
Multiply the length by the width of each room in feet, then add the rooms together. A 12 × 10 ft room is 120 ft².
Why add extra for waste?
Flooring and tiles get cut to fit, so buy about 5–10% more (15% for diagonal patterns).
