Is my text sent anywhere?
With the normal (offline) voices, no: your device reads the text itself. If you tick online voices, your browser may send the text to its voice provider, such as Google or Microsoft, to make the sound.
Can I download the audio?
Not here. Browsers play these voices directly and do not allow saving them as a file.
Why are the voices different on my phone?
The voices come from your phone or computer, so each device has its own. You can add more in your device's text-to-speech settings.
